The first month of Childrenshare!

Childrenshare is one month old! The official opening was on the first of May with Alexandre Dang’s ‘Dancing Solar Flowers’, MUBA’s varied programme of events for children at the Rotonda di Via Besana has included lots of play and educational activities on the themes of Expo 2015.

With ‘Eating with the eyes’ the children discovered the importance of the colour of food, while with ‘Storytelling’ they explored different ways of eating from around the world; then they got to know the art of bread-making thanks to the ‘Bread workshops’ and they played with the shapes and colours of apples in the ‘An apple a day’ workshop. Finally, they discovered, together with their parents, the importance of unimpaired development by taking part in the ‘Feeding the mind’ workshops and conferences.

And between one workshop and another…they played with the Childrenshare tables, which are part of the large MUBA installation. It can be found in the centre of the museum during the six months of Expo 2015 and adults and children can have a go at laying tables from eight different countries!

But Childrenshare doesn’t end here! In June there are lots of other special events waiting for you, where once again children will be the main players in workshops and laboratories dedicated to food, sharing time with friends and internationality.

Not to be missed!
